Our blog posts are written for the "everyman" or "everywoman" who is looking for an easy-to-understand explanation of the law, who wants to learn more about the importance of estate planning, or who needs helpful tips and resources to navigate the administration of a loved one's estate.
Short answer ~ EVERYONE!
A recent survey found that 64% of Americans don't even have a basic Will. Another 9% have a Will that is out-of-date and does not address their current situation. That means a whopping 73% of the American population have no effective or comprehensive plan in place to protect their loved ones upon their death!
Old or young. Single or married. Kids or no kids. No matter the size of the family or the portfolio, everyone should have an estate plan in place for their lives!
Imagine having to prepare a Will & Trust within a short period of time after your loved one's diagnosed with cancer? There's so much to think about and so many details that it seems completely overwhelming and frankly impossible! Amy is very professional, knowledgeable, thorough, patient and most of all caring. She walked us step-by-step, in a respectful manner, using examples and discussing scenarios that never occurred to us. She made sure all of our "I's" were dotted and "T's" were crossed. She responds quickly to any calls, emails and is always pleasant. It is without reservation that I recommend her to family, friends and neighbors. As a matter of fact, a couple of my friends/neighbors are currently working with Amy. They have all had very positive feedback about her and the work she does.
WHAT PEOPLE SAY
I am a 39 yr. old male, married with 2 children. With our kids being toddlers, my wife and I thought it was time to put things in place in case the worst happened. We did not know where to start and Amy guided us through the complex world of estate planning. The process really put things in perspective, and Amy was very patient throughout with all our questions. I respected her advice so much, I had my parents get their estate paperwork established. You typically don't think about this stuff until it's too late. I'm glad we went to see her.
Thank you, Amy!!
At first, I thought my “planning” was rather silly since I do not have children. If something were to happen to me I wanted to make sure my pets were taken care of as well as directing my final assets to family and friends. Amy was so helpful in helping me wrap my mind around how I could set up my own legacy to ensure that all of my loved ones, 2 legged or 4 legged, would be taken care of if something were to happen to me. I appreciate her candor, her super detailed oriented guidance, and how much she kept me on track. She has a true passion for this work and it shows throughout your interactions with her.
I am a firm believer that the law is more than a profession; it is a calling. By working with families to create and implement an estate plan, I know I am helping them to be good stewards of all that God has blessed them with.
I also believe that the probate and estate administration work I do is a ministry, one that allows me the opportunity to help people make it through the dark days of losing a loved one.
Why do I do what I do? The answer is simple - YOU!
