Comfort Zone Camp

Group of smiling kids

Today we want to shine a bright spotlight is on Comfort Zone Camp.

This weekend camp is specifically designed for children ages 7-17 (or 18, if still in high school) who have experienced the loss of a parent or sibling. It allows kids to be kids again, to have fun without feeling guilty for it. It also gives kids a platform to share their story (if they want) with other kids who have experienced loss too. Even better, there is NO cost to attend the camp, and kids are encouraged to come year after year.

I was introduced to CZC by a client who lost her spouse unexpectedly last year. She sent her three kids to camp, and it was a wonderful experience for all three of them! The kids are looking forward to going again this year.

Camps are available in North Carolina, Virginia, and several other states. CZC is open to kids from all over the country, though. If you are the parent or guardian of a grieving child, please consider taking advantage of what CZC has to offer!
